CURRENT LINE UP:
Jamie Woon – Singer-songwriter from London uses his unique guitar style, loop sampler, his band and strikingly soulful vocals to create his fresh and atmospheric take on R’n’B that has an indefinable yet distinctly British slant. His debut studio album due for release at the end of 2009.

Nick Mulvey – Nick Mulvey is ¼ of Portico Quartet.
As well as performing with the band, he now performs his own unique solo material with OneTaste.
He performed his first shows with OneTaste back in 2007 and since then he has played in prestigious venues throughout London and has recently completed the Vortex Jazz tour as their featured solo act.
Having completed a degree at SOAS in ethnomusicology, Nick draws majority of his influence from African music makers and poets. Many of his songs incorporate old African stories and poetry, composed to his own music, making for very interesting and unique pieces of work.

The Moulettes – The Moulettes are a folk-stomping barn-storming swingin’ quintet: An orchestra of absurdity featuring cello, bassoon, guitars, violin, viola, autoharp, kazoo, trombone, drums & 5-part harmonies! Their songs are narrative driven alliterative epics of depravity, decadence and delirious devastation, and they deliver a rollicking, resounding live set when called upon.

Kate Tempest – Kate Tempest (formerly Excentral Tempest) is a rapper, poet and playwright. Scroobius Pip says: “She has no right whatsoever to be as good as she is. It astounds me. Her writing is epic, her delivery piercing, and with the addition of her band Sound of Rum her potential is realised. Inspirational.”

Sound of Rum – Sound of Rum are a 3 piece, loop-based, beats and rhymes band. Archie Marsh plays guitar & bass, Ferry Lawrenson plays drums, & rising rapper & poet Kate Tempest does the words. Their catchy Hip hop debut EP ‘Balance’ was described by Scroobius Pip as ‘Genius.’

Daisy – Daisy Kelly-Granger has been singing all her life. Blessed with a natural stage confidence, aged four she made all the parents at nursery cry after delivering a heart wrenching solo of ‘Away In A Manger’. She got very upset because she thought she’d done something awful.

Bridgette Amofah – The Times named her as the female artist to watch in 2008. North London based Bridgette is currently in the studio working on her album with some extremely exciting producers and has been personaly asked to support both French leftfield sensation Sebastien Tellier and American Soul legend Candi Stanton on their UK & European tours.
She’s also the lead vocalist in the critically acclaimed act ‘Oi Va Voi’ where she replaced KT Tunstall, touring the world from Moscow to New York, and has also worked with the likes of The Nextmen and Basement Jaxx & The Earlies.
She recently performed live on Jonathan Ross’s BBC Radio 2 show and was a resident performer at London’s exclusive ‘Masque of the Red Death’ cult theatre production. Bridgette features on forthcoming albums from both Oi Va Voi and the Part Time Heroes, and will be performing her jaw-dropping live set at a whole host of the UK’s music hotspots leading up to the release of her debut single ‘What It Takes/Not Your Style’

John Berkavitch – A OneTaste favourite but oh the poems that emanate from this mans lips!
Sometimes sad, often painfully funny, always honest and frequently foul. Berkavitch will cross any line if its worth it and it always is.

Polarbear – The Brummie who speaks stories. Formed in the North Pole from a combination of Hip-Hop and Bukowski, he tells of everyday things for everyone to relate to. His style and delivery will take you with him on journeys to places you’re sure you know. ‘Just beautiful’ – Colin Murray Radio 1.

AND JUST CONFIRMED:
Daniel Clark – This summer singer, songwriter, story teller Daniel Clark will be presenting new prose based stories for adults told over a live soundtrack of harp, bowed guitar and beatbox. He’s warned us to expect the unexpected.

Joe Driscoll – A modern day one man band, Joe Driscoll effortlessly fuses hip-hop, reggae, soul, folk and roots rock making him a champion with festival crowds. He creates the soundscape of a full band utilizing heavy vocal percussion, an array of instruments, a loop pedal, and a big imagination.

Stac - Sassy soulstress Stac writes intelligent, jazzy, souly, stylish and sometimes uncomprehendably intricate tunes that can’t help but leave her audience beaming by the end of the show.
She has an effortless, sensous voice which lends itself perfectly to the vocals-led styles of her song-writing, with lush harmonies gallore and the odd gorgeously deliberate note clash thrown in for good measure.

David Goo – Fun loving, all dancing rhythm and absolutely no blues! David Goo, a festival favourite and funny as f**k performer is gracing OneTaste with his outlandish band. Intelligent, hilarious and down right surreal.

Pearl Apollo – Introducing new London soulful electro-pop duo Pearl Apollo. Featuring the lush voice and electrifying performances of Tanya Auclair fired by guitarist-producer, The Horse. A true 21st century blend – expect flashes of phat 70’s funk, glitchy minimal beats, sparkling cold war synth layers and infectious choruses.

Fiona Bevan – The last few years have been busy for Fiona Bevan. They have seen her earn a number 3 position in Londonist.com’s Top 10 chart with her EP The Swimming Pool, as well as a place in the final 50 of T4’s Orange Unsigned Act.
She will be performing some of her songs taken from her new album ‘Plant Your Heart’ (out now) enchanting us with her fiery vocals, playful, jazz tinged folk songs and award-winning lyrics.

Park Bench Poet – Park Bench Poet made his debut appearance at a WoonTaste show at OneTaste West way back in the day and blew the audience away and then was never to be see again. This stealth poet is somewhat of an inspiration to many artists who have had the pleasure of seeing him perform and is one of the few poets who successfully makes that dangerous crossover between music and spoken word.

Lail Arad – Lail’s songs tell little stories. Some will make you laugh. Some will make her laugh.
One might make you laugh and cry at the same time.
Her voice is her friend. Sometimes it is loud. Sometimes it is quiet. She is practicing being very loud and very quiet at the same time.

Mark Hole – A born entertainer, accompanying himself on piano, this man is a hoot. Mark combines a totally unique voice – enormous, yet sensitive, part croon, part light tenor; with a warped and original songwriting talent, surreal, moving and often downright deviant.
